In NBA 2K23, player ratings have been updated based on their recent performances on the courts of the world's best basketball league. A new leader has appeared at the top of the ranking.

2K has decided on the sixth update of the NBA 2K23 basketball player ratings. A lot has changed - for the first time in this part of the series, any of the players reached the ceiling of 98 points, automatically becoming the leader of the individual ranking. Jeremy Sochan also received a different assessment.

LeBron James tops the NBA 2K23 roster

At the end of December, LeBron James celebrated his 38th birthday. The star of the Los Angeles Lakers proves, however, that age is just a number, because the last few weeks have been a real show in her performance. LeBron will soon break the record for the most points scored in the NBA, which still belongs to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387). James is currently 158 points behind him - according to statistical calculations, it will take him six more games to overtake Jabbar.

2K appreciated the veteran, giving him 98 rating points. This makes James the best basketball player in NBA 2K23 right now. The top ten of the list is as follows:

Jeremy Sochan's rating has also been updated. The Pole from San Antonio Spurs received extra points for the first time. So far, since the premiere, it has held at 72 points. However, 2K noticed a great start to 2023 by this year's rookie, increasing the rating to 75 points.

This puts Sochan in 14th place on the rookie roster in NBA 2K23. His undisputed leader is the number one draft pick, Paolo Banchero of the Orlando Magic. 2K awarded him as many as 84 points. Since its release, Banchero has jumped to this level from 78 points.
